1. there's no mention of how to set or locate bookmarks in the help file
2. the command for finding a bookmark is in an odd place on the menu (insert/table of contents)
3. the program will only find a bookmark if focus is on the document containing the bookmark - it should seach the whole mnk file for bookmarks. (not just documents within a note, but also notes within a mnk file)
4. the act of finding a bookmark inserts a hyperlink into the file where the bookmark is located each time the command is invoked and then the user has to dbl-click the link to get to the bookmark and edit to remove the hyperlink - why go to all this trouble? - just go to the bookmark.
5. the only way to see all the bookmarks in a given note is to define a hyperlink pointing to a bookmark. - and again the hyperlink to the bookmark has to be in the same document as the bookmark itself. Should be able to link to the bookmark from anywhere in the mnk file.
To my way of thinking marking a bookmark would assign an arbitrary name based on nearby text or image (or allow the user to name the bookmark)
finding a bookmark would pop up a menu of available bookmarks (in the whole note) and the user could pick the one she/he wanted. (the pop-up would also allow for management of the bookmarks - delete - link - etc) - not too elaborate.
I hope this information is useful. Thanks.
